Project Overview
Escape from Wonderland was an Alice in Wonderland themed escape room with three different puzzles at Carnegie Mellon University's carnival celebration. I worked with a team of 10 from Carnegie Mellon University's Theme Park Engineering Group over the course of three months to design and implement the escape room. I was a lead designer for the tea puzzle, working primarily with one other designer to design, write, and implement the tea puzzle. In this tea puzzle, guests read a riddle and used Makey Makey technology to play the "Happy Birthday" song using teacups. Successfully playing the song would trigger an image to appear which would hint at the number for the lock combination. Our team ran the escape room for three days, welcoming 500+ guests.
